Digital Mirror Replacement System (OptiView)

The traditional exterior mirrors are replaced by an advanced camera system built into both sides of the bus. Two cockpit displays serve as digital rear-view mirrors, offering the driver a clear and expanded view of the vehicle’s surroundings. The system combines close-range and wide-angle cameras, allowing the displays to meet legal visibility requirements while also showing a broader, all-round view on the lower section of the screens. This technology eliminates blind spots and enhances safety. Digital Mirror System is designed for replacing traditional rearview mirror. The system collects image from dual lens camera mounted left/right side of the vehicle, and inputs the image signal of the road conditions to the screen fixed on the A-pillar inside the vehicle, and then display on the screen.
Benefits: With conventional mirrors, your view is often impaired by raindrops, soiling, or the mirrors shaking. The mirror replacement system, however, automatically filters out disruptions in the camera footage and optimises the brightness and contrast. Even when driving in low light or at night, the display image ensures a clear, glare-free view of the traffic behind.
